Cnidaria
The Cnidaria Integumentary System consists of epitheliomuscular cells, cnidocytes, interstitial cells, and nerve cells.
- Cnidocytes (sometimes known as "needle cells" assist in paralyzing prey of the animal
- Nerve cells trigger motor responses
- Intersistal cells are unspecialized cells that are not active by default, but serve as replacements for dead cells.
